IAMSAR Solutions is pleased to announce it has reached a formal agreement with the Virgin Island Shipping Registry (VISR) for the provision of search and rescue training. VISR engaged a process in 2021 to open a new Rescue Coordination Centre as per its United Kingdom Overseas territory SAR mandate. IAMSAR Solutions has been chosen as the provider for select SAR courses which include the Fundamentals of SAR (FSAR) and SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC). FSAR will take place in BVI while SMC training will take place in Canada. This ongoing partnership will assist VISR to develop a fully functional and highly efficient RCC to save more lives effectively. This is another example of joint collaboration for years to come.
