IAMSAR Solutions is pleased to announce that the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation (SACA) has selected
our company to provide a series of critical search and rescue (SAR) courses to Saudi Arabia personnel
directly involved in aeronautical SAR operations.

SACA students will undertake a series of vital SAR courses which include aeronautical Search and Rescue
Operations, aeronautical SAR Mission Coordination and Search and Rescue Management System. Each
course provides specific skillsets which are necessary for any Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) to
operate efficiently and fulfill its mandate under the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and
the International Maritime Organization (IMO). This newly acquired knowledge will yield more proficient
SAR Mission Coordinators (SMC) and align with international standards and global best practices.
Our courses are delivered by highly skilled aeronautical SMCs from Canada who themselves originate
from the Royal Canadian Air Force as SAR pilots or air navigators. Featuring an impressive 295 years of
collective SAR experience, IAMSAR Solutions sets itself apart as the #1 global provider of high-quality
SAR training. This is clearly attested through our active presence which now spans over 34 countries worldwide.

Our instructors will also use our revolutionary new RCC software IMSAR as part of the
training to render an even more realistic experience during practical segments and simulations. All
students also have individual access to IMSAR during training.

“This partnership with the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation is more than a contract; it is a shared vision
and enduring friendship for a safer tomorrow. Together, we are reshaping the future of aviation safety,
empowering the next generation of search and rescue heroes with the ultimate tools and knowledge to
protect human life across the skies and beyond” said Mr. Jean Houde, CEO of IAMSAR Solutions.

“At the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation, we are committed to strengthening national capabilities in
aeronautical search and rescue through specialized, high-quality training aligned with ICAO and IMO
standards. Our collaboration with IAMSAR Solutions will provide participants with practical knowledge,
advanced tools, and international best practices that will contribute to safer, more efficient, and better-
coordinated search and rescue operations across the Kingdom,” said Eng. Wahhaj H. Motawie, Chief
Executive Officer of the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation.

Training is scheduled to begin in September 2026 delivered onsite in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
