IAMSAR Solutions recently delivered a special tailor-made Aeronautical SAR Operations course in Jeddah, at the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation (SACA). This esteemed institution provided the facilities to train the personnel from the Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS). This is the first of a series of courses to be delivered in 2026 at SACA. Our superb instructor extraordinaire, Mr. Marc Beaumier, delighted the audience with his vast experience in SAR. Marc is a veteran air navigator from the Royal Canadian Air Force with more than 5,500 flight hours on SAR, coupled with years of experience as an aeronautical SAR Mission Coordinator at JRCC Halifax in Canada.
Our cadre of 11 instructors all meet the same strict requirements to be part of our family:
- Experience in SAR as a JRCC SAR Mission Coordinator for years
- Experience in an actual aircraft of vessel engaged in SAR operations for years
- Ability to effectively convey information with care, enthusiasm and dedication
This is what you get with IAMSAR Solutions: a tailor-made course delivered by the best SAR minds on the planet.
