IAMSAR Solutions is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with both Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Oostende and Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre (ARCC) Brussels to provide a Joint SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) course to their personnel. This is an unprecedented initiative where two distinct and separate organizations from the same country join together to create a new national standard of training for Belgium aeronautical and maritime search and rescue incidents. This collaboration by both MRCC and ARCC clearly indicates a genuine desire to offer the best possible SAR services for its customers. Like all other courses we provide, we create a tailor-made experience using regional context, local topography and actual search and rescue units in both academic and simulations environment. Belgium will benefit from a special 20-day SMC course which includes a new 5-day Aviation Training module carefully designed for the European environment. The IAMSAR Solutions team is extremely proud to have been chosen as the optimal provider to train all personnel through multiple courses spanning over many years.
